About Healing Schools Project
Fifty percent of Black educators plan to leave the field. Healing Schools Project works with schools to create a more inclusive environment where educators feel supported and respected regardless of race or other identity characteristics.
Our work focuses on recognizing the signs of stress in teachers so that appropriate measures can be taken to ensure their wellbeing. By doing so, schools are better able to retain valuable teaching staff, while teachers feel more supported in their roles. Every donation of any size, helps support teacher mental health and well-being.
